If you want to add motorization to your home but already have existing blinds, shades, or draperies that you want to keep, retrofitting your current window coverings might be the answer. Hardwiring your motorized blinds is an option if you want to avoid the hassle of regularly recharging them. Easy installation and remote control settings make this a simple process - no drilling required, and it can be completed in just 5 minutes.
Our motorized 24V tubular motor blinds/shades add-on motor is a cost-effective and time-saving way to make your window shades smart and Alexa-compatible. The multi-channel remote is designed for convenient usage, allowing you to easily pair it with our motorized blinds and curtain tracks. You can control each blind separately or as a group with just one click, and you can also set open/close limits and favorite positions with the push of a button.
For a wired remote control option, our 24V, radio-controlled, wired power solution is compatible with a 1.5" OD tube and the right adapter. It can replace the original electric motors on our 2009 Tiffan Allegro bus.
If you prefer app control, our DIY motor allows you to connect your shades to the Bond Bridge and control them using Alexa voice commands or by setting schedules to open and close at specific times.
In addition to being safer for babies and children, our 12V motor with wireless remote control offers the freedom of smart shading for all types of shades, blinds, and draperies.
Our multi-channel remote has been particularly helpful for controlling multiple blinds at once, as all shades on the same group channel will operate simultaneously.
For manual Coolaroo blinds, you can modify them by changing the aluminum rod and using carpet tape to reattach the fabric to the new rod. The mounting bracket may not fit the existing holes, but it's easy to drill new holes into the valance.
If you still love the look of your window treatments but not their functionality, we can motorize most existing blinds and shades by adding a motor to the tilt of blinds and the lift of roller shades. This can breathe new life and functionality into what you already have.
The process involves unclipping your blind, removing the chain drive, and screwing off the chain-side bracket (no need to do anything on the plug-side bracket). Then, you simply insert your motor and fit the required crown, drive, and bracket adapters, making sure they are a close fit with your shade system. Finally, program the motor with the remote control, and you're ready to start using your motorized blinds.
Remember to charge the battery motor before inserting it, and be sure to choose the right diameter of roller tube for your blinds to match the motor's lifting capacity.
